We had a fun little surprise this week... Dusk to Dawn Events was recently quoted in a Yelp article about the biggest wedding trends for 2026.

The piece talks about how weddings are continuing to shift toward more personal, experience-driven celebrations, which is something we see with our own couples all the time here in the DC and Northern Virginia area.
According to Yelp’s search data, couples planning weddings in 2026 are leaning into things like:
vintage wedding dresses
lab-grown engagement rings
wedding welcome parties and extended wedding weekends
interactive food experiences
more candid photography styles
sustainable floral choices
In other words, couples are designing weddings that feel more like a reflection of their lives and personalities, rather than following traditions just because they’re expected.
Our favorite part of the article was seeing how many vendors across the country are noticing the same shift.
As we shared in the piece:

We couldn’t agree more.
One of the most meaningful parts of planning weddings is helping couples create a day that actually feels like them — whether that means a mariachi band during cocktail hour, a dessert bar instead of cake, or a full wedding weekend where everyone stays together and celebrates longer.
